After travelling with the Ashen Company and making lifelong friends Cade succumbs to the might of a giant Kraken. Whilst his friends are able to bring him back he doesn't remember who he is or his time spent with the company.
Feeling a pull to the source and the cries of help on the wind Cade takes his leave of the group to pursue his own path and journey... before rejoining them at the end of the world.
